Cambodia Tour Reviews

4.5 - Very Good Based on 154 customer reviews
Fantastic trip, great company Reviewed Tour: Biking, Food Tour and Floating Village Discovery
John Sandoval From USA
5 - Excellent
“This trip was brilliant to see loads of Siem Reap in a quick time frame - just did 4 days and it’s the best experience and decision we have ever made. Our tour leader Sovuth spoke excellent English and took us to all the unique attractions where there was hardly found by any tourists. He made sure we were safe and would inform us what we could and couldn’t do. We never feel rushed since we could just relax and properly explore the area. The bicycle, transportation and accommodation provided were great, and the activities offered were the best selection from the area.

Highlight - food tour down the Siem Reap street food with plenty of local food selection we choose from. Amazing food great people and an insiders view of an amazing part of the world. The bike tour to Angkor Wat and Floating Village were great. We learned so much from the rich history and local ways of life in Cambodia.

Highly recommend Siem Reaper if you are looking to explore Cambodia in a short time and see all the highlights. Book this trip it's so interesting with so many things to see, we still can't believe we have been.”

“Dear John Sandoval,

On behalf of Siem Reaper Team, I would like to thank you for taking our 4 Days biking, food tour and floating village discovery and leave the thoughtful review that you experienced with our guide (Sokvuth). I'll make sure pass this lovely review to him.

It is all part of the adventure and the reason we travel is to see new things and experience different ways of life and local culture. We hope to see you again sometime on one of our other trips!

Thank you,
Vathana & Siem Reaper Team”
An enjoyable cycling trip in Cambodia Reviewed Tour: Angkor Cycling Adventure
Daniel Miller From USA
5 - Excellent
“I had a really great time on this 5 days cycling trip from Angkor Wat. There was so much to see especially since I experienced the fantastic scenery off the beaten track and away from tourists to see the real countryside and how the locals live.

The cycling was great mainly flat with some quite long days the longest being 70 km, but the roads are mainly flat with good surfaces and with the excellent bikes the cycling was no problem and although it was quite hot, but there were plenty of stop for refreshment along the way.

I was impressed with the standard of hotels and the foods at the rest stops were amazing. Our guide (Borith) was very knowledgeable and great fun and took us form place to place with an educational information throughout Cambodia history and culture, and he knew where to go to avoid crowds.

If you are reasonably fit and adventurous then this is for you. There were support vehicles a plenty if you needed a rest. The snacks provided were very welcome at the breaks. My experience at Angkor Wat trails was amazing. I highly recommend to do this tour with this company when you ever visit Cambodia.”
The tour operator responded on :

We hope to see you again sometime.

Thank you,

Cambodia - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Grandeur and colonial charm await you in Cambodia. With jaw-dropping architectural gems, including the intricately detailed Angkor temples, floating villages, and laid-back island beaches, Cambodia’s tourism industry has grown significantly over the past 10 years. All the same, many parts of Cambodia remain relatively unexplored by tourists. This small country has an incredibly complex history to discover, along with wonderfully welcoming people to meet. What's holding you back from taking a trip to Cambodia?

Tour Highlights

  • Explore Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument
  • Visit Battambang, a preserved colonial-era town
  • See the richly decorated carvings of Bayon temple
  • Spot a rare Irrawaddy dolphin in Kratie
  • Stare in awe at the Silver Pagoda at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh
  • Experience the nightlife of Pub Street in Siem Reap
  • Learn about the history of Khmer Rouge at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum

Travel Tips

  • Despite terrible periods in Cambodia’s history, the country today is a safe place to visit. Stick to the tourist areas as much as possible. When travelling to remote areas, stick to the marked paths to avoid any undiscovered landmines.
  • November to March is the most popular time to visit Cambodia when the weather is not-too-hot and not-too-wet. July to August is shoulder season, and a great time to visit for lush scenery and fewer crowds - if you don’t mind wet weather.
  • While Cambodia’s currency is the Riel, it is far more common for tourists to pay in US dollars. In fact, most prices in shops and restaurants will be quoted in US dollars. However, most hotels and restaurants also accept credit cards.
  • Never touch somebody on the head in Cambodia, as this is considered to be the most sacred part of the body.
  • Do as the locals do and smile! Cambodians are known for always having a smile on their face - reciprocate!

Cambodia has seasonal weather so please do check up on the best time to visit Cambodia before planning your tour to the country
