The northwest of Argentina is home to many hidden gems and stunning treasures, from dusty desert towns to tiny vineyards and incredible landscapes. On this tour, you will be able to visit this region via the best possible way: on a road trip!
This 18-day itinerary starts off with a guided city tour and then a free day to explore on your own in Buenos Aires, with a dinner and tango show included. Buenos Aires will enchant you with its different neighborhoods, culture, food, architecture, and history. We're leaving some free time -apart from the city tour- so you can discover this city by yourself, which is one of the best ways to do it.
Then, we'll take you to explore the famous Iguazu Falls, from both the Argentine and Buenos Aires sides. These falls are in the middle of the jungle and is about a complex with hundreds of water jumps distributed across different areas of the Park. The pearl of the park is the Devil's Throat: probably the waterfall with the most water flow in the world.
On day 7, pick up your car rental and head out on a self-drive adventure. Visit the main highlights of Salta and Jujuy, where you can appreciate the incredible contrasts of this region: the arid High Plateau and its Salt Field (a.k.a. Altiplano), the colorful Gorges, and the picturesque valleys, amongst others!
Overall, this is a flexible tour, which can be adapted to your needs and preferences. Therefore, we invite you to get in touch and to start planning your next experience!
