A former royal castle and a summer residence of the royal family of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen who ruled Romania until 1947, Peles Castle is considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. It is also one of the most visited in Romania. This fairy tale castle was built between 1873 and 1914 by the most famous architects of the time, using the finest materials. Visit at Pelisor Castle, the smaller, yet gorgeous residence of Queen Maria and King Ferdinand. The castle still bears the influence of Queen Maria's exquisite taste.

Second stop: Cantacuzino Castle/Location: Busteni
Built at the beginning of the 20th century by the richest Romanian of the time, Cantacuzino Castle is one of the best examples of the Neo-Romanian architectural style. The castle has a unique heraldic collection and a splendid panoramic view over the Carpathians.
Drive back to Bucharest. At the end of the tour you will be dropped back to you hotel.
