Our guide shared with us the fascinating history and traditions behind this unique cemetery, and we were left with a deep appreciation for the customs and culture of Maramures. Throughout our tour, we also had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in local experiences. We visited traditional markets where we sampled delicious local cheeses and meats, and we learned about the traditional crafts of the region, such as woodcarving and weaving. These experiences allowed us to truly connect with the local people and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and way of life in Romania. What really stood out to us was the expertise and passion of the team.
