“I had the pleasure of embarking on a 8-day tour of Romania with this local travel specialist earlier this year. From start to finish, our tour was an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations. Maramures is a region in Romania that is known for its stunning natural beauty and unique culture. The highlight of our tour was the traditional wooden churches that dot the countryside. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites are an incredible sight to behold, with their intricate carvings and vibrant paintings. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and significance of these churches, and we were left in awe of their beauty. Another unforgettable experience was visiting the Merry Cemetery in the town of Sapanta. This vibrant cemetery is unlike any other in the world, with colorful tombstones that tell the stories of the deceased in a humorous and lighthearted way. Our guide shared with us the fascinating history and traditions behind this unique cemetery, and we were left with a deep appreciation for the customs and culture of Maramures. Throughout our tour, we also had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in local experiences. “The tour company is outstanding. Everything was excellent from airport transfers to our guide Marcel. The company was extremely helpful prior to the trip; answering promptly and completely and securing an extra night for us at the end and ensuring we could stay in the same room. Airport transfers were extremely smooth, even our 3 AM pick up for our return flight. The drivers were polite, the car was spotless and they were on time. The itinerary was amazing showing us the beauty and diversity of the country, from natural wonders, castles, churches, small villages and beautiful historic cities and towns. A perfect route and selection of the many of the best things to do and see. The tour is packed with sights, views and beautiful drives. The only downside is that you are only in a hotel for one night but it is the only way to see as much as we did in 10 days. The hotels were 4 star, unique and located in the perfect location. Our guide, Marcel Ene was a gem. He made the trip perfect in everyway. He was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, helpful and engaging. He told us personal stories to help us gain a deeper understand of the culture, the people and the country. It was like touring with a friend, which he was by the end of the tour. The company and guide pay attention to details to make sure that everything about the trip is memorable and perfect.”

“Nicu Apostol and Lulian Aruxandei arranged a four-days trip around Transylvania for me and I can only praise their efficiency and professionalism. Visiting Transylvania's castles and medieval cities is something I wanted to do since a long time, but my vacation days were limited, so travelling solo by train, for example, wouldn't have allowed me to see so much in a few days. My guide was Marcel and I was blown away by his knowledge of history, culture and infinite fun facts, not only about the main tour destinations but also about places we were driving through. We also had to deal with the weather and winter-schedule limitations, but if we couldn't make it somewhere, I was proposed an alternative, which was at least as nice as what was initially planned. This way I visited places I would'nt have seen otherwise and had the opportunity to exchange with local people. In summary this is a great tour company if you want to visit Romania, you can fully rely on their team to organize the tour of your dreams.”
