The Hanalei Bay in Kauai is one of the world’s most popular surfing destinations. It is the favorite of many world-renowned surfers and paddlers. While winter draws in a number of 25 ft. waves, the spring season is rather mellow, making it perfect for amateur surfers, and those looking to learn.

You can get professional surfing lessons from locals for incredibly cheap. Moreover, you can stay right next to the bay, and spend your entire break surfing and swimming!
