The trip was a tale of two halves with an active outdoor Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan followed by a more urban experience in Uzbekistan. The guide added value in the first two countries. By Uzbekistan, a guide was unnecessary.”

We lived in a variety of stays, but the good thing once we're done with a guesthouse/home stay it's usually followed by a nice hotel stay where we can unwind and do our laundry and prepare for the next trip”
