The tour "Basel To Strasbourg By Bike" starts from Basel and ends in Strasbourg. This is a bicycle trip that takes 8 days. You will travel through Switzerland, Germany and France and visit Riquewihr, Basel, Black Forest and 3 other destinations. This is a self-guided private tour that includes accommodation, meals and others.

Cycle between the Alps, Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains from Basel to Strasbourg. Three countries, three cultures and a wonderful climate await you in the Rhine valley between the Alps, Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains on this self guided cycling trip. From Basel in Switzerland cycle along the Rhine River and along the edge of the Black Forest through beautiful natural landscapes towards Mullheim in Germany. Cross the Rhine into France to the colourful and character filled town of Colmar, the capital of Alsace's wines. Situated on the River Lauch, its canals flow through the beautifully preserved old town with its cathedral, tanners' quarter and 'Little Venice' providing a wonderful distraction away from the bikes. At the foot of the Vosges Mountains, cycle along the French wine route through dreamy villages filled with timber-framed houses and well preserved medieval centres to the Alsatian capital of Strasbourg, home to the official seat of the European Parliament.

Day 3 : Cycle via Heitersheim and Bad Krozingen to Freiburg in the Black Forest (35km/21mi)
Day 4 : Cross the Rhine to fortified Neuf-Brisach and continue to beautiful Colmar (60km/37mi)
Day 5 : Cycle along the foothills of the Vosges to Riquewihr (40km/25mi)
Day 6 : Continue along the wine road through picturesque villages to Obernai (50km/31mi)
Day 7 : Along the banks of the Bruche canal to Strasbourg (40km/25mi)

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Basel to Strasbourg by Bike tour. You can cancel the tour up to 72 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 71 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 29 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 29 June 2024, a deposit of 187 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 71 days before trip departure.
