I spent a blissful afternoon picnicking by its shores, enjoying the reflective beauty of the lake's surface. Also, lake Moreno is worth visiting, provided a serene contrast to the grandeur of Nahuel Huapi. Nestled in the midst of thick forests, this lake feels like a hidden treasure. A peaceful hike along its shores allowed for close encounters with the local flora and fauna, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing day outdoors.”

“Bariloche is full with amazing places. The trek to Refugio Frey is nothing short of a trekker's paradise. Nestled in the heart of the Argentine Patagonia, this adventure stands as a testament to the raw, unspoiled beauty of the Andes. I recently embarked on this journey, and the experience left me in awe of nature's majesty. It´s perfect if you like long hikes, climbing and in summer you can swim in the lagon next to the Refuge.”

“I booked all of our accommodations independently. For what it is worth, our one-night stay at the Recoleta Grand was a disappointment. I did not like hotel and would not recommend it. Though not especially convenient to the downtown area of Bariloche, we did love the views of the Charming Inn. All of the excursions were fantastic. I dont think we had a favorite. I am very pleased that Lette added the chairlift ride to our day hike. The views were absolutely amazing in Bariloche. All 3 of our guides - Agostina, Lette, and Emmy were amazing. All were super knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, warm, friendly - excellent ambassadors for Argentina. We spent the most time with Agostina who I found especially thoughtful, so she will always have a special place in my heart. Wasnt sure how I felt about the river cruise before we went, but it was terrific and Im glad we did it.”
