The "Grand Combin Traverse" tour starts and ends in Bagnes. The "Grand Combin Traverse" tour is a walking trip that takes 7 days. You will travel through Italy, Ivory Coast and Switzerland and visit Bagnes, Etroubles, Corbassière Glacier and 5 other destinations. This is a guided small group tour that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

Walk around the Grand Combin massif in the Swiss and Italian Alps to encounter exquisite mountain scenery. In the heart of the western Pennine Alps is one of the most beautiful alpine border regions between Switzerland and Italy. Spanning the valleys of Bagnes and Aosta, the Grand Combin mountain rises to an altitude of 4314m at its peak. The surrounding valleys and high passes represent ideal hiking conditions and are an excellent alternative to the busier trails around Mont Blanc. The area is rich with wildlife and the outstanding views of snowy peaks, tumbling glaciers and verdant lowlands will not fail to impress. A further highlight of the week long walk is crossing the historic Great St Bernard Pass (2469m), and to be greeted by our accommodation at a centuries old travellers hospice.

Day 2 : Walk via the Fenetre Durand trail to the Aosta Valley in Italy (6hrs)
Day 3 : Walk through the Aosta Valley with views to Mont Blanc (7hrs)
Day 4 : Cross the Great St Bernard Pass (2469m), overnight hospice (7hrs)
Day 5 : Return to Switzerland and walk through the Entremont Valley (6hrs)
Day 6 : Traverse the eastern slopes of the Grand Combins (6hrs)
Day 7 : Return to Fionnay with views of Corbassière Glacier, trip concludes (6hrs)

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Grand Combin Traverse tour. You can cancel the tour up to 72 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 71 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 29 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 29 June 2024, a deposit of 187 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 71 days before trip departure.
