“Highlights of my Moroccan trips. Mohamed, our tour guide, was fantastic, full of energy and generosity. As a solo female traveler, I never felt lonely and met wonderful people along the way. Traveling through the Atlas Mountains was magnificent, and there were plenty of breaks for photographs, the restroom, and lunch, making the ride seem shorter. There were several tourist stops where we were introduced to Moroccan plants and agriculture, which was fascinating, as well as locals attempting to sell their crafts, which was all part of the experience. The accommodations were wonderful, and I have uploaded images of my room; the food in the hotel was also delicious, and the staff was quite welcome and pleasant.”

We were lucky to have an exceptional tour guide (Deji) who made the trip more uplifting and enjoyable. He became more of a friend near the end, and he was professional throughout the tour, and he adapted well to our humour and told some classic stories. Despite the rainy weather, we all collectively enjoyed the trip and would recommend this tour to absolutely anyone. “I cannot thank our guide Youssef and mule driver Mustafa enough, they were absolutely brilliant and really made this trip extremely special. I’ve completely fallen in love with the Atlas Mountains and the kind people who live there. The trail is beautiful and takes you through varied and geologically interesting landscapes. We did the walk in December, and there hadn’t been snowfall yet, so the walk itself wasn’t overly strenuous giving us the chance to take in the surroundings and put the world to rights, and time to explore the villages in the evenings. We were fortunate enough to have clear skies every night - in the small villages the view of the stars is incredible! Highly recommend it! Thanks Youssef and Mustafa!”
