HIGHLIGHTS
  • This amazing Nile Cruise tour holiday starts in Aswan and ends in Luxor
  • Discover the ancient temples and tombs, visit the Philae and the Karnak Temple
  • See the valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple at the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor
Enjoy the highlights of ancient Egypt between Aswan and Luxor during this five-star all-inclusive Nile Cruise.

The tour starts in Aswan, where you will see the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods of the Nile. Visit then the unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians how to cut obelisks. Then you will see the Philae Temples on the island Agilikia. This majestic Temple was built in the honor of Goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island.

The Edfu temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god and is considered the best preserved of all Egypt’s temples. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt.

Visit Kom Ombo and the double temple of both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god located at the river bank. While many parts of the temple have been destroyed by the Nile flood, the ruins are spectacular.

At the West Bank of the river Nile, we’ll visit ancient tombs, the most well-known being those of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. Visit also the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

We’ll also explore the Temple of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III in the 18th dynasty and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th dynasty. Together with the Temple at Karnak, Luxor Temple is on the list of World Heritage Sites.

Visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in the history. They are dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Approximately thirty pharaohs contributed to the buildings, enabling the temples to reach a size, complexity, and diversity not seen elsewhere.

After disembarkation, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Luxor.

Don’t miss out on this historically and culturally rich cruise tour!
