“Fantastic trip!! We had the best tour guides: Mina M. and Medhat! So knowledgeable, personal and fun. You will get to see and do sooo much on this trip! I truly learnt so much about Egyptian history and culture. The river nile cruise was fantastic. Food, staff and accommodations were great! Pros: Cairo Pyramids, Luxor Temple, Valley of the kings, Karnak Temple, Philea Temple, Temple of Hatshepsut and the list goes on! Must do extra's: Abu Simbel Nubian Dinner Alexandria Cons: I would NOT do the Cave church. You drive through garbage city and then the church cave tour is extremely rushed. Very odd tour. Resort in Hurghada is beautiful and brand new, however drinks and food were very poor. We went off the resort to eat. Overall I still give this trip 5 stars as the experience was amazing, expat was very organized and everything ran extremely smoothly.”

“Cairo Hotel: 4 stars (Nice breakfast buffet. Hotel restaurant menu had a nice variety of dishes.) Cruise: 4 stars (Good buffet selection. Clean. Comfortable rooms.) Hurghada Resort: 4 stars (The entire resort, Caves, is Flintstones themed. It's not written out or mentioned on their website, but if you know, you know. Food was mediocre. All-inclusive so you get free alcohol :) ) Tour Bus: 5 stars (Cleaned and well-maintained. Seats that can recline for long drives! Longest drive is 5-6 hours from Hurghada back to Cairo.) Tour Guide: 5 stars (Medhat was a wonderful guide! Well informed and patient with our group.) Extra Excursions: > Abu Simbel: 4.5 stars (Beautiful! Great for photos. Early morning start with 3 hour drive.) > Red Sea Snorkeling: 5 stars (Went in late December and it was very windy/cold but the water was at a warmer and more comfortable temperature. Waves were harsh so I used a life jacket just in case and had a great time.)”

“This tour started off a bit chaotic. But I quickly learned that Cairo is a bit of a chaotic city and I learned to embrace that. Our itinerary was jam packed and we saw a ton of Egyptian highlights. The temples, ruins, and artifacts were nothing short of extraordinary. It was great to see all the different cities throughout Egypt too; Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, Hurghada. Each has its own personality. I went during a chaotic time as the virus was sweeping the globe. My only gripe about the trip was our time in Hurghada. It's labeled as an 'all-inclusive' resort but there isn't much to offer in terms of beverage, the Wi-Fi connection is atrocious, and the service wasn't great. In addition, it rained while we were there so we were stuck at the resort for an additional night before heading back to Cairo. This led many to be forced to cancel/reschedule flights back home during an already chaotic time and without the luxury of a strong internet connection. I opted to stay an additional night in Cairo, so I escaped any deep worry. Yet the rest of the trip and itinerary was a blast. Our guide, Ramez, was very knowledgable, friendly, and he accomodated everyone to the best of his abilities. It was a great experience being led by a local Egyptian and hearing about the culture first hand. I'd recommend the trip for sure!”
