“I would've liked to see more of Malaysia ie the Camaroon Highlands but that would need a few more days added to the holiday. Also the last hotel Fave Cenang Beach hotel was at least 10 minutes away from the actual beach and as we were there 3 nights, we should've been given quieter rooms facing the rear In the 1st place instead of at least 2 in our party having to pay extra to move. This is a transit and group basic hotel and let down this tour. After paying a single room supplement, we paid double the price of the room rate advertised on their website, this should not have happened. I had reception contact maintenance as my loo seat was discoloured and rough, happily they quickly sorted this and put a brand new on , I was a happy bunny! ”
“I enjoyed this tour far more than I expected (due to a combination of personal factors prior to leaving that left me unsure if I really wanted to go!). The pace was good, with time to take in the souqs etc. The camping was a real highlight - the team that managed this were excellent, producing delicious food and managing everything without fuss. Seeing bioluminescent plankton in the water as we sat in the dark was magical! The desert at sunset and sunrise also pretty special, creeping mist just before sunrise very eerie! Thanks, Explore, another lovely tour!”
