A safari is a journey. This is the meaning of the word in Swahili, the language of East Africa. When you join us on this 7-day safari, you will be transported in a well-maintained 4×4 safari vehicle, driven by a professional local guide in areas that will leave you breathless with wonder and excitement. You will search for the ‘Big Five’ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino – and will be amazed by the sheer beauty of grass-covered savannas, extinct volcanoes and rare birds.

First, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, which features stunning landscapes and an incredibly lush forest teeming with troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is one of the few places where you’ll be able to see the ground hornbill and crested eagle.

Your next stop is Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Serengeti, defined as “endless plains” in Kiswahili, is inhabited by more than 2 million large mammals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson's gazelles. Nearly 500 species of birds, also inhabit the area.

Finally, you will explore the Ngorongoro Crater, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Within its 2,000 ft. high walls you will find a virtual Noah’s ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the black rhino. The crater consists of a river, several swamps, lakes teeming with flamingoes, forests and open plains.

Review for another Migration Venture Africa Ltd tour
“From Amos greeting us at the Kilimanjaro airport, to Guides, and all of the porters and our cook helping us on our 7 days hike up Mount Kilimanjaro.
They run a very competent and professional Kilimanjaro climbing company that supplied us with everything we needed to succeed on our summiting Mount Kilimanjaro hiking the Machame route. Our expectations were regularly exceeded with all aspects of our trip! The food was fantastic, the tents and sleeping bags kept us warm and the charming personalities of the whole team who took much enjoyment in helping us because they clearly love their jobs! We were treated amazingly well.
This is the only company I would use to climb Mount Kilimanjaro again.”
