Experience seven days of breathless safari adventure in northern Tanzania with this odyssey that explores three national parks and a conservation area. ‘Safari’ comes from the Swahili word for ‘journey’ and over the course of this unforgettable itinerary, you will undertake a journey like no other. You will discover some of the most dramatic landscapes in the world, come face to face with wildlife, and have memorable encounters with intriguing cultures.

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Kifaru Safari, Serena Lodges tour. You can cancel the tour up to 62 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 61 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 19 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 19 June 2024, a deposit is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 61 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Kifaru Safari, Serena Lodges tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. World Nomads offers travel insurance for independent travelers and intrepid families.

For this Kifaru Safari, Serena Lodges tour getting the required visa(s) is the responsibility for each individual traveller, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend to check with your local embassies representing the countries that you are traveling to, as part of this itinerary.

Know Before You Go

Day 2, this safari departs Arusha Town Centre by 02:00 pm, so arrivals at Kilimanjaro International Airport must be by 12:00 pm, otherwise, travellers must arrive earlier or have stayed overnight at an Arusha hotel to join the scheduled safari. The safari will continue without clients that have not arrived by the departure time and additional costs incurred to arrange for the clients to meet up with the safari group will need to be borne directly by the client on the ground Day 7, the earliest departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport on the last day of the safari should be after 04:00 pm Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft-sided bags not exceeding 15kg and 65x46 cm. Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at the time of briefing. It will be handed over to you on your return from the safari. Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points No refund for unused services. Splitting of the package is not allowed We reserve the right to change itineraries and activities due to weather conditions, technical problems or security reasons Early check-in, late check-out, connecting or adjoining rooms in the hotel are subject to availability and not guaranteed This tour is a combination of regular tours and shared arrangements, clients may be required to change vehicles Park fees may change without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will have to be covered by the client
