Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will warmly welcome you with a cold drink and pick you with a private 4WD safari vehicle and transfer to Arusha (approximately 50km or 31miles) a 45 to 50 minutes drive on a tarmac road for overnight at the Planet Lodge or similar (Dinner included). Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner. This will be a truly life-enriching safari experience that will be lifetime memorable. Karibu Tanzania!

Meal Plan: {Dinner, Breakfast}

Day 2 EXPLORE LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK 8 hours Eco lodge

After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Lunch at the Lake Manyara Safari Serena Lodge or similar. Afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.

Contrasting with the intimacy of the forest is the grassy floodplain and its expansive views eastward, across the alkaline lake, to the jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Maasai Steppes. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on these grassy plains, as do giraffes – some so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance.

Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Hot lunch/Lunch box, Dinner}

Day 3 LAKE MANYARA TO NGORONGORO CRATER 8 hours Eco lodge

Depart to Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a full day game drive. Have picnic lunch in the crater. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Loge or similar.

Ngorongoro Crater, the Africa Paradise for a full day (8Hrs) game drive with luxury picnic lunch boxes. This is UNESCO World heritage site and one of the seven natural wonders of Africa and often described as the 8th wonder of the world.

Summary of the key facts about the Ngorongoro Crater:-
• 8th wonder of the world
• 2,200 meters (7 218 feet) above sea-level
• Largest intact caldera in the world
• Home to elusive black rhino
• Highest concentration of wildlife in Africa
• Maasai Tribesmen & wildlife of all kinds live in harmony.

Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Hot lunch/Lunch box, Dinner}

Day 4 NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK 8 hours Eco lodge

Depart for Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the Ndutu Katikati Tented Camp or similar. Conduct afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at same camp.
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains.

Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Hot Lunch/Lunch box, Dinner}

Day 5 DISCOVER SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK 8 hours Eco lodge

Morning game drive in Serengeti. Lunch at the Ndutu Katikati Tented Camp or similar. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.

But there is more to Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species, ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.

Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Hot Lunch/Lunch box, Dinner}

Day 6 DISCOVER SOUTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK 8 hours Eco lodge

After breakfast, continue with game drive in the Serengeti, this time more concentration in the central and southern Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the Ndutu Katikati Tented Camp or similar.

Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Hot Lunch/Lunch box, Dinner}

Day 7 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA–ONWARD FLIGHT 8 hours

Collect lunch boxes and drive through southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with a game drive en route. Arrive in Arusha in time to board flight back home.

As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterises the Serengeti Plains, stretching across sunburnt savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. Yet, after the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. And there are also wooded hills and towering termite mounds, rivers lined with fig trees and acacia woodland.
