The most beautiful, but Technical, climbing skills required, is now often booked by many - a bit more expensive but worth it for frequent climbers. The climb involves crossing the breath rain forest and gives you an open view of the glacier when you reach the Shira Plateau situated in the middle of the moorlands.

Day 1 - Airport - Hotel in Arusha B/B
Day 2 - Transfers to Machame camp
Day 3 - Shira camp {3,800m}
Day 4 - Barranco camp {3950m}
Day 5 - Barafu camp {4,900m}
Day 6 - Summit {5,895m} - Mweka Camp
Day 7 - Mweka Camp - Arusha town hotel B/B

We provide all meals, head guide and assistant guide and porters and cook who will prepare all meals.
Day 1 Airport - Hotel in Arusha town 3 Star Hotel

Met at the airport, and transfers to the Lodge/Hotel in Arusha town.

Day 2 Machame Gate {1800m} - Machame camp {3000m} Camping

Transfers from Hotel in Arusha to the Machame Gate , introduction to your guide and porters. Registration is done and thereafter start climb {Hiking /Trekking}with picnic lunch through rain forest for approximately 4 to 5 hrs where you arrive to the Machame Hut. Later afternoon walk up to a little higher altitude is done for acclimatization. Return to Machame Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Machame camp {3000m} - Shira camp {3800m} Camping

After breakfast, start climb through short Savannah forest and other vegetation for approximately 4 to 5 hrs, with picnic lunch en route before arriving in the afternoon at the Shira Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Shira camp {3800m} - Barranco camp {3950m} Camping

After breakfast a slow walk through semiglacier and sandy areas with picnic lunch 3 to 4 hrs before arriving at the Barranco Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Barranco camp {3950m} - Barafu camp {4600m} Camping

After breakfast, with picnic lunch enroute climb through glaciers for approximately 4 to 5 hours before arriving the Barafu Hut for dinner and overnight

Day 6 Barafu camp {4600m} - Stella Point {5750m} - UHURU PEAK Camping

An early wake up call around 01.00hrs for preparation and light breakfast before starting final ascent to the summit i.e either the Stella Point reached in approximately 5 to 6 hrs and a further ascent to the Uhuru Peak reached in another approx 45minutes. After signing and short rest at barafu hut descend via the Gilmans Point down to Mweka hut for an hours rest with light breakfast then descent down for dinner and overnight at Mweka camp.

Day 7 Mweka Camp - Mweka gate- Arusha town 3 Star Hotel

: After breakfast, final descent to Mweka gate,thereafter say Goodbye to your Guide/Porters and connect a private transfers to Arusha town for the night at the Hotel B/B

Day 8 Transfers to bus stand/Shuttle terminal/Airport on own

Good to know Mountain Clothing:
* Warm, windproof jacket with hood.
* Waterproof jacket and over trousers.
* Walking trouser, long sleeve, shirts and pullovers.
* Warm underwear, Good comfortable walking boots.
* Training shoes {for evening}. *Gaiters.
* Sun hat, * Warm hat or balaclava, *Scarf.

Mountain Equipment
* Good warm sleeping bag a must.
* Water bottle {1 to 2 litres}
* Water purification tablets/solution {and filter}
* Wash kit and towel, toilet paper.
* First aid kit {including blister plaster, headache tablets, suncream, lip
salve, personal medication.
* Torch, Sun glasses, Walking poles.

Passenger Information
• Passengers should bring only duffle bags for safaris{not suitcases}
• All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
• Baggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
• Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
Tourist Visa will be obtained at the entry points, but it is advisable to double check before travelling to Tanzania
Cancellation Free cancellation up to 60 days prior departure, after which the deposit becomes non-refundable.
