Budget Camping Safaris are among the most popular options for visitors who want to explore Tanzania’s many game parks and other wilderness areas. Camping Safaris allow you to visit the best national parks in Tanzania and get great safari experiences, while then camping in the bush or by the parks at night - where you will then be able to socialise with other people camping also.

We provide mainly smaller tents having a capacity of two people whereby mattresses are put on the sewn-in ground sheet and all preparations at the camp are done on arrival with clients participating with pitching the tents. Washroom and shower room facilities are set separate from the tents and they are made to provide reasonable hygienic standard.

This is a real authentic African experience - still with the benefits and comforts of a safari guide, a cook and few more attendants to take care of all your needs. This tour thrives to provide the highest level of comfort to allow clients experience the intimate contact with the bush and the live sounds of the African nights that gives a truly authentic adventure.

If any questions, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us here at Bookmundi.

The area is also more heavily visited so you should also see more tourists around this area. Wild animals frequently visit the campsite which is not fenced, you should move with caution. The Serengeti means endless plains in Maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. You will have all meals and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Camp Site.

Another full day of game drives and exploring the Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater- The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lion, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes.

The Crater is a spectacular setting in which to experience your African safari. Some scientists maintain that before it erupted, Ngorongoro Crater- the largest intact caldera in the world would have been higher than Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa.

Covering a mere 260 square kilometers (100 square miles), the 600 meter (1969 foot)-deep Crater is home to a permanent population of more than 30000 animals. It is one of the few places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant) in the course of a game- drive.

The local Maasai have permission to graze their cattle on the Crater floor, and it is not unusual to see Maasai cattle and buffalo grazing together with lion mere meters away. There are around 1000 lions in the Crater, approximately 20 black rhino, and the spectacular Lerai Forest is one of the best places in Africa to spot leopard.

Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba “A” Campsite. Ngorongoro Simba Campsite is a very simple campsite overlooking the crater. At night in can be quite cold and misty because of the altitude. Facilities include covered cooking area and basic dining area, cold shower and toilet.
