Argentina Self-guided Tour Reviews

5 - Excellent
Based on 2 customer reviews
Stunning expedition
5 - Excellent
  • Anonymous
“From the first to the last second, the expedition was not only carried out very professionally, but also with a great deal of passion and a remarkable mixture of excellent planning and flexibility depending on the environmental conditions. You could tell from the entire team and crew — each highly competent in their respective fields — how committed they are to their job, but also to Antarctica as a unique and most beautiful corner of the planet. Safety and environmental protection were taken seriously, at the same time there was always a lot of fun and a lot to learn (and a lot to eat & drink) on board. All in all, a breathtaking experience.”

Tips when doing Argentina self-guided tours

  • The “W” Trek in Patagonia could be too challenging if you are not an avid hiker. There are many other smaller hikes you can opt for instead.
  • Choose layered clothing that can suit all weather when visiting Patagonia and Iguazu, where it is not uncommon to experience four seasons in a single day.
  • Many of the major highways in Argentina charge toll fees. So, budget accordingly if you plan on driving in the country.
  • Most wineries in Mendoza open to tourists around midday. Do not go too early if wine tasting is all you are interested in.
