Alice Springs Tours and Trips 2024/2025

As the focal point of Central Australia, Alice Springs is the starting point for many Australian adventures. While a relatively small town of approximately 28,000, a visit to Alice Springs offers a lesson in Aboriginal and pioneering history. But the main reason travellers stop at this small town that lies amongst the desert? Some of Australia’s most iconic natural landmarks, such as Uluru/ Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/ The Olgas are all within a short distance.

“I cant recommend Groovy grapes enough, by far the BEST tour company i have travelled with. From a fun filled day on the Barossa valley to the rock tour experience i will never forget. Both guides (Jerry then Jase) were extremely passionate about their jobs passing on as much local info as they could and having lots of laughs along the way. The itineraries were great and certainly packed in as much as there was to offer, you definitely get your money's worth out of these tours. I will treasure the memories made which will stay with me forever, Big love Groovy Grapes.”

“Had a great tour on the Rock to Water tour with Sam. Sam was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information on the flora and fauna and history during the tour. There were lots of jokes and stories on the way and the group got along really well together. The food cooked by Sam was great as well! Would highly recommend the tour! Thanks Sam!”

“We have recently done a rock 2 water 6 day Alice to Adelaide tour. (Started 7th Feb 2018) The whole experience from start to finish was first class. Shane the tour guide was fantastic. His knowledge was exceptional on all subjects and he kept the whole bus entertained, with his information and stories. His attention to detail enabled the trip to function without a single hiccup and the travellers in the bus gelled as a result. We felt safe at all times and the only disappointing aspect was finishing the trip and saying goodbye at the end. Thanks Shane and Groovy Grapes for a memorable 6 days.”
