If you are heading to southern or eastern Africa, remember that the dry season runs from June to October. This is the best period to see animals, as all you will have to do is get close to a pond and wait. This is the best time to visit Kruger National Park as well.
When talking about Africa, we often imagine suffocating temperatures, but this continent can get incredibly cold, especially at night in the Namib or Sahara desert. Choose your clothes accordingly.
