“I thought some of the trips were very expensive - nearly €200 to go Mountain biking for me and my 12 and 10 year old! However, overall a very memorable holiday ”

“I think trip notes do not make clear how bad the road is after leaving the chinese border to travel to kathmandu. This journey is long and very bumpy and rough. On the other side I dont think the trip notes say how wonderful this part of the trip is with stunning views and great interactions with locals.
In terms of the whole trip it was one of the best I have ever done and I thought it was just excellent”

“It is not necessary to bring small denomination dollars to Vietnam - useful in Dubai though for buying very very expensive coffee/ food. Best to advise changing to Vietnam currency before travelling, or bringing larger US notes - larger notes give a better exchange rates at the banks. I did not use any bank cards on this trip. Full access to internet/ personal apps at Saigon, but not before. Seems to be quite a bit of internet censorship further north. Best to go to Vietnam before it becomes fully developed, which should be in the next 20 years, at the rate things are changing. Prepare to be modestly dressed for temples/ pagodas. ”
