About

My motto? Don't be a tourist, be a traveler.

Working in the travel industry doesn't mean you are on the road all the time, but it does require a passionate heart towards travel, people and destinations. I followed my heart and here I am today, working as a tour guide and now a travel consultant for more than 15 years.

The more I travel the region and the world, the more I love my homeland, Vietnam. Here we have the most amazing and authentic culture, gorgeous mountainous areas with terraced rice fields, four lovely seasons each year and the best beaches and bays that still keep their natural beauty.

My life objective is sharing this love with all the travelers who plan to visit Vietnam, as well as other destinations that I have been traveled and studied including Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.

Linh's best travel experience

Two years ago, I traveled to northern Vietnam to the remote villages of Ha Giang for a support project for local children. We visited two remote primary schools and gave them schoolbooks and stationery for the new school year and also organized a cinema night to lighten their spirits since there was no TV in the village. The trip was smooth until a storm hit us unexpectedly and flood threatened to block our way out.

We had to make a decision: to stay at the village and wait until the flood passes or to leave the mountain village immediately for the town, in the heavy rain. The road from the village to the town was small and narrow, one side was a mountain and the other side an abyss, and there could be only one car at a time.

Duties were calling back home, so we decided to leave rather than stay in the stunning mountain village for the next week. We escaped under really bad conditions. We walked, trekked, hiked, crawled... until we finally got to the highway, covered in mud but mission completed. We went home with warm hearts, knowing the kids were prepared for a great school year ahead.

Why is Linh the right travel expert

I do not sell services; I share with you my passion and my love for the country. I take travelers requests as if I am planning my own trip or my friend's trip. I know that everybody has their very own style of travel, own pain points, own interests, own expectations, and budget. I do not judge; I just study, listen and turn your sharing into important trip details.

Many of my clients have turned out to be my lifetime contacts, which to me, makes the world smaller and a better place. Just imagine, you plan your trip with me and you will know I will be the one who welcomes you when you land in a strange brand new destination. I can’t wait to work together.
